Washington Interior Design Schools
The Art Institute of Seattle is part of the extended The Art Institutes network. This university offers two programmes in Interior Design - a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (36 months) and an Associate of Applied Arts degree (26 months).
These courses address issues such as: colour schemes, surfaces and furnishings, space planning, and traffic patterns.
Modern technology is also incorporated into the curriculum with CAD programmes and the latest design software at student's fingertips. As part of the course students use computers to make detailed floor plans for residential and commercial projects.
