A Photo Marathon is a one day photo competition. During this event the competitors will have one hour to complete each assignment. The time pressure element will make this into an exciting challenge. The Photo Marathon stimulates creativity, sharpens the eye and lets the participants tell their story. Together, the photographs comprise a unique exhibition, reflecting a day in the life of Bangkok and its inhabitants through these photographers’ eyes. The day will start at CentralWorld where all participants need to register and will receive their first assignment. At the end of the day everyone will gather at Goethe-Instutute (Silom) to close of the day together and have the chance to talk about all the adventures during the day.
From among the photographers participating, a professional jury will select a winner whose photographs will be exhibited during Stream Photo Asia festival at CentralWorld in Bangkok this February. They will also be shared through social networks, with a worldwide reach; and in a permanent form in a printed photobook. Also, the winners will be rewarded a number of prizes.
